yes fluid levels fine and no leaks. thers no air lock either because if you pump the pedal it stil goes to the floor. read that its normaly not the clutch itslef just wear on ther pins and is easy to fix??

Iv'e always left those sort of jobs for a time when I have time (if you know what I mean) and what happens? everything goes right and the job is done in no time! But when you want to do it quick, it just goes wrong just like Ian says.

well mate what I know about clutches I could write on a postage stamp...

I presume you don't have any fluid loss or running down the pedal? and the slave cylinder is in good condition?

slave looks ok. topped it up yesterday and blead it as much as i cud (which wsnt as much as id like ot have) works ok. just got an air lock (i think) somewher as i have to pump it wen i get in 1st thing :S but apart from that its going.
wil get me to MITP and back again, think because i changed the master cylinder it needed topping up but i kinda forgot to once i had been to blcakpool. yo know what the saying goes like if its not broke dont fix it lol

hello people, re your hydraulic system, it sounds like your slave cylinder is allowing air into the system. Easy to bleed, remove clevis from slave push rod open the bleed nipple, push the rod as far as poss and hold in, at the same time close the nipple, wait for the pushrod to fully extend, repeat until no air comes out of nipple, remember to fill the master.. It is also possible to bleed the system without opening the nipple, in the same manner.

thats what the problem was i relpaced the master a few weeks ago and bled it the drove it and then re bleed it but forgot to refill the master:o

working fine now
