Sorry I missed dean's stag do, but I was on the Lakes tour, I thought I would share some photos with you from over the weekend. I have a great dvd of the weekend but can load it on the computer, so I will bring to the next meeting if anybody would like to see it.

No I did not see it there. Nice looking mini. The weather was great and for some reason the weather as been great for the last 5 years that I have done it.

looked like a top weekend m8! where abouts in the lakes did you tour? id love to do the tour,not sure whether any of the other guys from miniaddicts have done the trip or not!;)

Hi it was a great weekend, we stayed up by pooley bridge on a site called parkfoot, got there on the friday afternoon in a convoy of 6 minis, got off the m6 at kendal drove to windermere then over the kirkstone pass to ullswater and then pooley bridge, when we got there we set up camp then went to the pub for some food and drink. on the saturday some of the minis went to penrith to do a rolling shoot out and some went and did the ferry raid and then the treasure hunt in the afternoon (not really a treasure hunt its more of a 60 mile drive down some brilliant roads). on the sunday we all left camp at about 9am and then went on approx 140 mile drive taking in 5 of the 6 passes ( hardknock, rhino, etc) even went down the shap. we got back to camp about 4:30pm after what can only be discribed as driving on some brilliant roads and a great weekend:D

Looks like a good weekend! Was that with new Minis too or just classics because I think I know a couple of new Mini owners who were off on a Lakes tour recently?
