Thought i'd start a thread of MOT nightmares, after looking through the forum, many of us have them unfortunatly  thinkin we could post some things even sily things that mini's have failed because of, so we can all keep an eye out before there sent for testing! this way we may just keep on top an  they might pass 1st time :D ....................... so do tell of your MOT nightmares .............
Good idea.
We all seem to have the dreaded Mot's in the same months:mad:
This could save us garage time and money:)
Always check the-
Ball Joints
Shock Absorbers
Wheel Cylinders
Hazards and Indicators
Brake Pads and Shoes
Seat-belts
Its just general things that mine failed on..

I once sat in the car, operating the horn, indicaters etc, as the exmainer asked but the screen wash I left until he was looking close at the wipers and soaked the bugger! and Yes it DID pass!:D (they do sometimes have a sense of humour, but under no circumstances sound the horn whilst he's got his head under the bonnet!) Nowadays you can't be present in some Testing Stations if they can help it. I wonder why?

Took my Cooper for its MOT this morning and was very disapointed, as I had decided not to take the family away for the weekend because I wanted to get all the jobs done and back in for a pass as soon as possible after its fail.
I'm so upset as it passed first time with flying colours and therefore I have no jobs to do on it this weekend.
Now I will have to finish off the kitchen for he wife.

Well done one and all who have all passed their MOT's.
Hope that they are all coming to an end and we can get on with some driving!!!
The long awaited return of RSP to the Jones household, is looking on for tomorrow night. :D :D :D
Dread to think what the bill is going to be, but it is going to be worth it.

Sorry to hear that Rob.
Take comfort from the fact that your mini SHOULD be spot on when its finished.
