Chester Lions charity family day

Haliwell Jones have asked us to try to get 3 classics to this show with them they will pay all entry fee`s etc

Its the Chester Lions charity family leisure day in association with THE CES UK THREE CASTLES WELSH CLASSIC TRAIL.:)

Thursday 31st May 2007 from 11am to 4pm @ the Duke of Westminster`s Eaton hall estate Airfield.

See 120 classic cars being put through there pace`s in the driving tests

Displays include: Classic cars , car dealers, quad bikes, kites , unicycles, camping equipment, face painters and other sport and leisure items.

Food etc available.

The manager of halliwell jones mini, John Brich asked me about this a few weeks ago but didnt want to put any info on here till he sent us an email, I put him onto this site as there is a eide selection through the eras :) hope this is going to be a great event

The minis are going on Halliwell Jones Stand for peeps to compare, not in the show or trials. We could get some publicity out of this.

The Halliwell Jones stand is gonna consist of 5 minis throughout the eras of mini they are having a new hardtop mini and a convertable and 3 classics on the stand if your worried about someone else blasting your mini graham I could have a word with john and ask if it is just going on the stand for u

I have spoke with John today. our minis will stay on their stand.
So far John is happy if myself with Elle, Merv with Mavis (to be confirmed)and if no other member comes forward I will ask Andy if he will bring his 1965 Elf.
I will speak to john next Tuesday after the Bank Holiday to confirm.

Good luck tomorrow. Just founf out one of the lads on The mini Forum is running in the event he lives in Chester and will be running Car 31 on the special stage at the hall.. so give him a wave and try and zapp him when he fly's past.....:)
