People keep asking me if i know of any chrome plating places:confused: & i dont Do you?

The nearest I can find whilst looking in case I want Elf bits doing is Crewe.

there is a couple of good platers about Derby, Coventry etc. but be warned the basic materials used for plating ie. Nickel etc has gone through the roof, i would think that chrome plating will go up by anything up to 4 times it's present price! Nickel alone is at £13000. per ton scrap which is a crazy price.
Don't forget that polishing is also a big cost with chroming.

I spoke to a Elf owner at Bingley who had his rear bumper done about 20 years ago, it cost him just over £100 (now you know why I was only enquiring and went no further !!!:D

Was that in Sheffield? Front and rear? why you asking for rear bumper in our wanted column?:confused:

turns out my rear bumper is beyond repair thats why i,m looking for another the company that is doing my chrome work is prestige elecro platers they are in mexbrough in rotherham

ive been told about some one on the wirral that dose it the person that told me is getting there number to me next week he gets all his vintage rolls bits done there
