me car faild its mot an i was wonderin how hard it is to change the sub frame moutins an can any one weld if so they fancy weldin me 2 new sills on an plate a hole up any one ????????

Hi mate, im rubbish at welding :( The subframe mount is a pig to change. I did the one on Mavis an it took me ages, but if i can do it anyone can :)

wish i could weld better lol an i will do all the work me self except 4 the weldin will take it in to work on monday an do the work on one of the ramps

hey mate, which subframe mount is it thats gone?? i had to do the front ones for my last mot, its not the easiest thing but it's not too bad!

erm 2 front ones on it an a rear one on the front

thats not too bad, the front front ones will take you about 5 mins, the other one is a bit of a pain, if you've got some ramps its easier to get the car up on them so you can climb underneath. axlestands are a bit awkward for this coz you can't get under far enough with room to work.

ok kl cheers mate i think i will take it to work an get it on the ramps sounds like that will be alot easyer lol

gossy speak to storz(dantheminiman on here) on midnightracing mate. he might be able to do some of the work for you mate. he did my front subframe bushes if thats what you mean by mounts. took him ten mins to do them

would do mate but takin it to workin in the mornin they said they would do it wen they have time so might have to wait another week to get it on the road :( but its worth the wait cheers 4 the help/advice ppl
