Hi folks,
My missus saw your poster in my local chippie, and the M-in-L saw an ad in the Chester Chronicle, and passed on the site addy.....
I've just registered on here.....so HELLO!
I've been a member of MINI2.com for the past 3 years, and over the past 18 months have organised MINI runs throughout N. Wales, factory tours at Oxford, and a 35 car run to Blackpool, which I noticed iin your future events bit.
Our local group has declined in numbers, as peeps have bought different cars, and it's now reached the point that I've given up trying to organise our monthly run out / pub meet.
Last event I did was the Himley Hall show a couple of weeks back......
Nice to see a feww more folks in the Chester area....
Siano :)

Hello an welcome wobert!! r u a bmw or classic lover??
I'd have thought the "MINI2" might have given it away........;)
I'm on my second MINI Cooper S, bought my first in 2003, and replaced it last year with a MCS convertible.......
First car I ever drove was a classic, back in 1984........and had one again 2 yrs ago when I went to Jersey for a holiday, couldn't resist the Cooper Sport the hire place had, so I have some experience of both cars.....

What's the take on the membership.......you appear to hold monthly meets, is this for "paid-up" members, or everyone.......don't get me wrong, I'm not flinching at "paid" membership, it's just M2 is very informal that's all....;)

Hiya Wobert,
would be great to see you at the next meeting, as Deano says, great to have another Beemer along. My other Half (CoopeNuttyTart) is the beemer owner in the family and i have a classic currently in rebuild.
As deano mentions, we have a few local runs organised this year inc Blackpool on Oct 27th as well as a few others. We have only organised locals this year as we are a new club, (only starting in March of this year). We are growing in number with three confirmed Beemers and another on the verge of joining us, with yourself that would be 5 beemers and the rest classics. We will be only too happy to receive any information you can give us for the Emily's Run (Oct - Illuminations). Look forwrd to seeing you on the 7th.
