Just wondering if we are starting to talk about this event as we started to discuss it at stoneleigh. I may just be a slight eager tho i just liked stoneleigh and wanted to get to more shows :)

If you liked Stoneleigh you will absolutely adore Himley, (if weather is nice!) it's near to home ,in a park more minis more stands Brill !:)

himley was the first event i did with my mini (picked it up easter last year!) it was really good and i think thats what dragged me into the whole club and show scene! :D and i love it!! :D

far as i know we are having a stand (unless there's another mess up like bingley!) are you coming mate>? its good having a nice beemer on the stand - shows we except both kinds! not many clubs do that! :D cheers

Id be well up for it get the car up on a stand or even if its just to go to the show, I think i have been to this event bout2-3 years ago and it was ace weather was fantastic, only downer was trying to get all the minis off the site took ages!

Forms gone. Theme is Brithish Outdoor Sport. £200 for best stand. Will do some forms for the next meet if u want to put your mini on the stand. Have booked us in for 8. So i think first come first seved is fair. :D

Oh yes one more thing. We get passes for the cars but we have to pay £5 per person. :D

Those who are also members of the British Mini Club get £1 off on production of their membership card as you do at any of the BMC shows.:)

Wherever you have to park is not going to be very far from the Show compound. Last year miniaddicts manged to park within 50 yards of the entrance! We didn't have to wait long to get away either, We saw loads of minis just passing without having to trudge all round the park !

Hope this is all ok. Will post meeting times during the week. We will be going down in convoy all together whether u are on the stand or not. The theme is British Outdoor Sport as you know, We dont like to give too much online as other clubs then know what we are up to. ;)

Well I have taken the Vinnie out for a blast to make sure that everything held together..... so far so good... put some super UL in ready and checked all of the levels.....

Man that new fan makes a racket.....

Hope you all have a good time, I might see you there tomorrow as I am going down in the shogun, looking for some bit to finish the mini so I can then take it for its mot. Once it is on the road I will look at do some shows with you if that is ok.:rolleyes:

i wish i went back to bed instead of writing this and accidentally overslept, :eek: would of been a great show with the weather but think it disheartened the whle thing and got us all very very wet :( and worst of all i dint win the mini!!!!!!!!

Just like to say thanks to everyone who went today.
I had a great day(Bit wet tho) still it was great to be there with u lot.
Thanx to my shotgun 2day Merv aka "The Human Satnav" who kept me entertained with all of his truckin annecdotes on the way there and back.
Only Miniaddicts could sit en masse under a gazebo in the pouring rain and actually make it fun.Well done Guys!!

Yes thankyou to all lol its crazy that we spent all day getting wet to the bones:eek: and we still made a good day of it :)

The CB`s were comedy.

The show and clubstands were very good and must say that the Missiles & mini`s on the chase well deserved the prizes.

some lovely Minis there but how long did it take for them to tell us we hadnt won the mini again

The hurdles were great brian :) thank you very much
