Minutes of Meeting of Mini Addicts
Held on Wednesday, 7th March 2007
Present: – 43 Miniaddicts.
Apologies were received from Snowdon Minis.
Dean opened the meeting by welcoming everyone to this special 1st Birthday Meeting of the Club. He thanked everyone for their commitment and input over our first year and hoped this would continue.
Curry Run – Sunday, 11th February 2007
Met up with Snowdon Minis and about 14 or 15 minis went on a tour of Snowdonia. We visited the lock-up and body shop, where various minis, about 20 in total, are awaiting refurbishment. After the run we all enjoyed a curry at the Amantola in Sealand.
Wirral Run – Sunday, 11th March 2007
This month’s run is to be a tour of the Wirral.
Two meeting places – 10:00 am at the Red Lion in Northop
10:30 am. at the Tudor Rose at Two Mills.
Take a picnic if required or an eating place will be found.
Website
The front page of our Website has now been up-dated with a picture of the front cover of Mini World Magazine. We now have 412 members on our website including one from Massachutses USA with a Chevi V8 engine in it.
Events List
We are planning a Track Day & Rolling Road Day. Once the dates are agreed they will be posted on the Forum and printed the Events List.
Merchandise
A leaflet is available which photos of our merchandise. More copies for next meeting.
Raffle
Our Raffle this evening raised £53.00. A big thank you to members for buying tickets and providing the prizes.
Caerwys Show – 13th, 14th & 15th July 2007

Kaye & Dean’s Wedding – Friday, 22nd June 2007
Dean announced that he is to marry Kaye on Friday 22nd June 2007 at Holy Trinity-Without-the-Walls, Blacon, Chester and afterwards at the Beaufort Park Hotel in New Brighton near Mold. It is hoped that as many minis as possible will follow the Bridal Stretch Mini from the Church to the Reception.
Dean thanked everyone for attending and closed the meeting.
A delicious buffet was then enjoyed plus a slice of our Birthday Cake. Thanks to the Red Lion for providing such delicious food.
