Need help!

For my birthday my husband bought me a superb set of new door handles for my BMW Mini One :) . Unfortunately I have not figured out how to take the interiour door panel off in order to fit the handles :( . Hope anyone can help me with this instead of me having to go to a BMW dealer and pay a fortune :eek: .

hi you shouldnt need to take the door trim off most bmw and new cars if you open the door where the latch is inline with the door handle there should be a black plug if there is take that out and look in side you should see a screw you might need a torch it will prob be a whats known as a star drive you need to unscrew that but not to far you should feel the handle become loose then slide the handle towards the rear of the car the handle should come out but if your unsure please dont try it i could have a look for you if your not to far away or if your coming the club ill have a look then. tony

or if k333th turns up tomorrow we could attack his MINI with screwdrivers and see if we manage it and let you know??
