hello. i am going to be buying a quick shift for the mini, but on huddersfield spares they have to types a left reverse quick shift and just quick shift which would i need to buy as i have never hurd of left reverse before.

Unless it's made by KAD dont buy it, cos they are normally really poor copies of the KAD designed quickshift that will be a pain to fit and get working!

This will probably make me sound thick:o but what does a quick shift do? I no it replaces the gearstick. What are its advantages/disadvantages?

Dean had a quick shift on his 306 and from what i can gather it just makes it quicker to shift it into gear. Narrows the gaps between the gears :D
