*Amended* Stoneleigh 8th April

Stoneleigh international indoor mini show on the 8th of Aprill

We will be going down as a club & we have a stand (theme is mini`s in film) Which is fansatic as i believe that its been very difficult for a few local clubs to get in .So we will be setting off on the day in 2 convoy`s one very early (4am) for us to go and set up our stand. The other convoy will leave abit later (7:30am) to get there for about 10am stopping for brecky on the way then off to park up in the mini only carpark!

Convoy leaving Halfords Sealand rd chester @ 7:30am on sunday 8th Please come down in any car doesnt have to be a mini!

We just drove down last year, the journey didnt take too long. As for time im not sure its usually bout 7 - 8 and the show prob opens bout 10 :)

i'd like to cadge a lift, but am working saturday and will not get home until about 9am sunday. if i manage to get some sleep on saturday night i plan on collecting my daughter and heading to the show. do you think i will be able to spot you guys ;) . cheers

There is a VW show on as well at same place. Will be busy around that area, thats why we are going so early (130 mile or so) Your ticket gets you into both shows so should be interesting. Zip up and hide that wallet ! LOL:D

to be honest was quite quiet, a few in as the doors opened to the public, but really wasn't a big show, lil bit disapointed personally, but still we had a great day as always :D

The pics I took were before the people got in... but it wasn't anything like Bingley.... we did get a lot of intrest at our stand as Deano said if it was a vote I think we could have won... It was a good day, Ian's vid was great.

Keith's car was mint and it was good to have a new one with us, helped us stand out...


Oh we had one member of the public asking if we were selling the F-conversion and how much was it. I recon we could have sold a couple of vid's as well

Sorry I missed you there M8, I was busy scouring the autojumble to see if there where any good bits for the Elf but no joy.
I have to agree that minis ruled the roost there yesterday. My view was that fans of both Marques may have thought "Nah , it's gonna be be too busy, I think I'll give that one a miss" and ended up staying away.( It was chocca last year when it was just minis.
We all had a good day out but some of us were very tired towards the end.

Forgot to say thanks to Dean and Kay for support vehicle and of course being the ones to pack bacon, bread and a stove to provide breakfast. (Not of course that we'd have needed it had Dean not bought a GPS from the £shop)

The stand looked fantastic and the pulic loved it & our video people did stop and watch the whole lot!:D

The Show was abit quiet but alot better than the Vw one only about 20 veedubs there:eek:

John my Gps is fine its me who`s the idiot who put the wrong destination in! lol

But all in all im well chuffed with how the day went :)

cool! mines ment to be quite good, just haven't quite figured out how to do it properly! must just be the angles! at stoneleigh mine was either blury but bright with no flash or just very close with the flash on....
its great outside or were you use the flash tho.... :(

All my shots are on auto even though I can use manual setting of apertures I find it frustrating try to set up the "frame " of the shot with peeps milling about so I leave it on auto focus as well. I also find it handy having SLR lens and not having to rely on a screen...waste batteries those screens and you often get a light on it from behind!
