Hello everyone, just thought id say hello and introduce myself and my mini. My name is Richard im 20, I live in Rhostyllen (Nr Wrexham) and have a Red 1997 Cooper Mpi that I bought in Dec 2005 after crashing my first (A 1988 Mayfair) after skidding on ice and in to a hedgerow. Just wondering if anybody was traveling up to blackpool on the 28th, and would like to go up in convoy? I only joined the forum yesterday, after sombody walked up to my mini whilst i was at traffik lights in wrexham town centre, and handed me a miniaddicts card through my window! Anyway if anybody is going up for the record attempt and wants to go with me let me no.;)

Welcome to the Miniaddicts forum :) That would be mervyn51 that handed you the zap i was told he nearly got ran over:eek: lol I think there`s a few of us going to Blackpool so shoudnt be a problem :)

Looks good, Isnt it annoying how the later shells all rust out around the scuttle panel whereas the early cars are all intact!!:mad:

Yeah, Very annoying!!! Ive got to have the front left wing and front end replaced again as some idiot reversed into it whilst i was in sainsburys!!:mad: I like your Busa!! Not to practical for everyday use though;)

It depends what your idea of practical is really as many of the members will confess my idea of a normal mini somewat different from many others!!!:D
