Anyone used a Kent 286??? I presume it will be a bit mad in my 998???:confused:

Yes had a 286 in my 1100 race motor it was good but wouldnt go anywhere in the rain:) it did rev very very high tho

You need to look at...

SW5 (I may have one for sale with about 2k miles on it tops.) I'll have a look how much they are now.
997 cooper cam.
MG metro standard cam.
510 cam
Piper 270.

The rest are a little too much for a road car.

for example, I run a modified 1330 with a 286 in it and its lumpy in that, it comes on cam at about 2.5 and goes with a bang.

In a thou I'd be suprised if you see it come on below 4k...not that clever for a 998.

spot on mate it came in about 3 and went up to 10.5 :eek: And as you say it comes with a bang allmost turbo like hence the useless ness in the rain:)
