Another great miniaddicts day out today. Great organisation and planning from the elderly elf took us circuitously round The Wirral. No less than eight minis made it all the way round without any problems stopping in zero temperatures at Parkgate for ice creams. (Dean should really be ashamed of the size of the cone that he managed), then on through West Kirby with good parking found on double yellow lines, through Holyake and on to a lunch stop at New Brighton. Graham's directional skills were put to the test here, assuming that the marshes on the Dee were the sea, and that Flint and the Welsh mountains possibly the Isle of Man. The afternoon run was even better taking us over the "four bridges" in Birkenhead, up a tower with fantastic views over the Mersey and on to parking practice at the Boat Museum at Ellesmere Port.

Thanks from us all to Tony for a great day out. Local runs where we get to do some good convoy driving are really great fun, and I can strongly reomend these to any members who haven't yet been out with us. If my old rust bucket can get round any one's probably can. Sorry once again for the exhaust spots on anyone foolish enough to drive behind me (swarfega's pretty good). Perhaps, now I've got a radio I should always go as tail end charlie.

Pink mini with the white wheel arches is Alistair' new motor.
As for Phils red mini, He works in a garage with little space for parking! plus , he likes the sound of his exhaust!!!! LOL. Shame you couldn't make it , you would have been able to meet some of our members. Maybe next time? We often have non members along for a "try before they join" You can come in your runabout while Nippy is off road like iI di in the picasso before getting Elle

sorry for being pedantic astinpowered. that spoiler looks very useful... it's a parking sensor. :) you could use it for many other things if you thought about it... can't think of anything @ the minute though.

The photogragher from the Standard used it to take the group foto at start of Blackpool run!
Phil had to jump on it first before Jane would stand on it Lol Its solid and bolted to boot and creates a terrific down pressure at speed.:)
