Does anyone now if you can remove the exhaust manifold of a single point injected engine without taking off the injection system??????????
I have it all loose but cannot seem to get it out either from below or above with the inlet system in place.

hi Mark, When i removed mine, i had to take the inlet manifoldoff aswell but you can just disconnect the multiplug and the fuel lines have a quick release connectors on the bulkhead aswell so just put it to one side whilst you remove the manifold, it may not come out with the downpipe attatched though so you will need to disconnect that first possibly but try it first

Thanks Mark, I have the downpipe and full exhaust system off already so I will try your way, otherwise its all gotto come off to get it out.
I went mad and ordered an LCB with an RC40 system and a K+N induction kit to let it breath a little better yesterday, probably be a little noisier but should be fun and I wantto get it all back together next weekend so I needthe manifold out before then

As mark says the Injection inlet manifolds are pretty easy to take off label all the conectors pipe`s etc just to be carefull;) Its allways worth taking some pics before taking it off so you can see where everything went.
Removing the engine stabilizer brackets on the block on the left and from the gearbox sometimes helps to move the engine back and forward
Cheers Deano
