Minutes of Meeting of Miniaddicts
Held on Wednesday, 7th February 2007

Present: 29 – Miniadditcts.

Apologies were received from Belinda Jones, some members of Snowdon Minis and John Melsher.

Dean opened the meeting by welcoming all members, especially new faces from Northop Hall, Warrington and Liverpool (a member of East Coast Minis). January had been a good month for the Club.

Wirral to Llandudno Run organised by Wirral Minis – Sunday, 14th January 2007

It was felt that the organisation of this run could have been better. We assembled at Matalan Car Park in Bromborough and went to the meeting point in convoy – only to be split up when we arrived as we were parked in horizontal lines and left in vertical ones. If we are taking part next year we will need to book early.

Bingley Hall – Sunday, 28th January 2007

The British Mini Club let us down on this event. We applied early to get a Club stand and were told at the last minute we had not been granted one. However, Grace’s Pink Mini and Mark’s Z Car Mini had been invited onto other stands. In retrospect it was felt that this made for a better day out. 10 Minis travelled in Convoy to the show. There were not many bargains to be had. A big thank-you to everyone who attended.

Curry Run – Sunday, 11th February 2007

A run has been arranged to meet up with Snowdon Minis in Caernarfon.

Meet at the Red Lion, Northop around 9:30am for a prompt departure at 10:00am (weather permitting). Going on afterwards to the Bengal or Amantola for curry. We are now making more use of our cb radios so bring them with you if you have one.

Mark’s Mini

We are very pleased that Mark’s Mini has been featured in Mini World magazine and a picture of it appears on the front cover. He also managed to get onto a stand at Bingley and at the moment it is being displayed in Demon Tweeks.

Feature in Mini Magazine

Our Club was featured in the January issue of Mini Magazine. All good publicity and recognition for the Club. Another achievement for Miniaddicts. We have received an e.mail from Mini World Magazine and hope to have another feature in their March edition. Watch this space.

First Birthday Party – Wednesday, 7th March 2007

In March Miniaddicts is one year old and we have decided to hold a First Birthday Party here at the Red Lion on our meeting day - Wednesday, 7th March 2007. Suggestions were requested as to what form our Party should take and Jill volunteered to approach the press for some coverage.

Hats, fleeces, etc.

We now have miniaddicts hats available at £5.00 each.
Fleeces are still available at £20 each.
If you would like t-shirts printed for your children – purchase the t-shirt and we will add the logo to it for you f.o.c.
