Over sills

This is why over sills are not to good if welded over rust:mad: and these were put on by rover under warranty they pulled off by hand!

Thats nothing should have seen other side this is a 92 mini and its had
front wings
front panel
scutle panel
a panels
inner sills
outer sills 2nd set
door shuts
boot floor
rear valance
door skins
ect
ect
would be easier to tell you what hasnt been changed :(
tonys 42 year old elf is in better condition and my 23 year old auto has only had two little patches on inner sills the newer classic minis if that makes sense were rubbish:mad:
but it getting there subframes back off next for rebuilds:)

Don't know about my Elf (although 42 years old) being in better nick, just removed both cills both sides, same story, old cills still there or whats left of them! Not all welded, some panels are pop riveted as well! As far as know the Elf has been standing unused in a garage since 1981. All electrics are working now I bought battery for £22 + Vat from Chester Auto (by Office World) They have always given me good service at reasonable prices. Should get discount now for this mention!
