Simple dimple.

Make sure you have a good thread on the compression tool (oh and its the right one, 2 types metric and Imp).

I think Imp were only fitted upto the late 70's anyway.

I have just changed my rubbers on the front, I always find it easier to remove the top arm (you need to when you change the springs anyway), loads of room to just build it up out of the car and slot in.
