I.ve got the same probelm with mine does your horn work???? the fuse box is a small black box on the inner wing left hand side when looking at your engine, you pull the cover off and there should be two fuses, if I remember I think they are 35A glass type at least they are on my 1970, the fuse should have the rating on it. Give the connectors and clean and replace the fuse.,...

ahh the bible says your interior light is protected by an inline fuse 10A these are in addition to the fuse box

it says they are located on
The engine compartment bulk head This might be behind the black material
behind the facia or instrument panel
and under the bonnet lock platform
They are held in containers that you twist to open...
Hope this helps:D

p.s its says it controls the flashers do they work?
thanks i think you have hit the nail on the head the wiring on mine is as sub standard as ever, my flasher unit melted so i cut the bad wires out and crimped the ends i didn't know that they were linked to the interior light this may explain the problem cheers

Then 3 inline fuses can be a pain:( But wind up torch is allways handy (thanks to the elf for introducing me to the wind up torch):)
what passengers cant get anyone to go in it that's trust for you, mind you i took it for a mot and on the way the front wheel fell off, my fault put 13" wheels on with 12" wheel nuts wont do that again
