Push Rods, which to fit?

Not many will know but my turbo engine's been out of my mini for about 2 years now, it's been sat in my shed doing nothing much along with another 2 1275's. When I started the rebuild the other day I forgot I'd left parts off the head in my shed, now I've got 16 push rods and I'm not sure which are which. 8 are approx 8" 3/8ths and the other 8 are 8" 5/8ths long, the engine spec I had off Jonspeed said it was fitted with Cooper S 177 rods....does anybody know which ones they may be?

I Know that 1275 pushrods are a little bigger than 998`s if that helps?

That's what I thought but they are for a 1293 turbo, I think they are the shorter of the 2 sets. If I haven't got enough adjustment on the rockers then I know they are too short lol

They sound like words of jealousy to me :D you want to see the size of my bores :p I worked it out today anyway, the shorter of the two sets are for the turbo but thanks for the help guys

I've set March 1st aside for on the road, I'm not convinced though lol I've got a shed load of things coming up before then. Saying that, ask Iceman about the first time I built her (from rolling bare rust shell to on the road in 4 weeks, with about 4 hours sleep a week :D )
I got new big ends for it yesterday and when I came to fit them today they were too big, 1275's where as I need 1071's. I'm away for a week as of Wednesday and I really want it built up before I go, the guy who's garage I'm using is tearing his hair out as he requires the space and his engine tray back :D
