i didnt no which cat to put this in , but ive recently bought some more sportspac arches but theyr rubber, were as my old ones were fiberglass, ive realised that there is a plus point to this as if i smack em, they wont crack like my fiberglass ones, but i was wondering if any1 knew wether they were easy enough to spray or if the paint flakes or wether they are really flimsy once theyr on the car? ta x

i've got them on charlie, they look cheap but the best thing you could do is either put some fibreglass around the underside of them to help them hold their shape, or something along the lines of that! mine have gone on and look a bit like 50p's but only cos they were flexing as i tried to fix them! as for painting they seem pretty ok, i've painted a test patch and thats gone on fine! if your were getting it sprayed professionally then i doubt you'd have any probs at all! :D

wel i think my dad was on about putting expanding foam on the undersides, i think it wud b an easier option! i said that i wud rather fiberglass but the guy said they were the best ones and he had them on his, he reassured me that they would be ok sprayed but i jst thought id ask for more opinions to be on the safeside before i spent £££s on sprayin the damn things :P

I'm not into rubber if you get my drift ! I'm sure you'll be ok as long as you don't spray too thick otherwise it will just crack up. Can you not get a flexible paint ? (Just an idea)

expanding foam is the method of choice! didn't want to suggest it tho but it sounds like a proper cowboy way of doing it! works tho apparently! :D
