Here is Part one of the head gasket how to.... I know what you are all thinking what does he know about head gaskets with the problems he's had:D . Well hopefully it might help someone of my low mechanical skills in the future??

Mods esp tech's can you please check and remove if required.....thanks

Please remember: In between the removal and refitting The head surface should be cleaned so there are no particles left on it and checked with the edge steel rule to ensure it is flat. The block surface should also cleaned, the manual states that it is very important that both surfaces are spotless, making sure nothing is left in the bores. The Vid does NOT show these steps, only removal and refit.

Excellent, should have filmed Deano yeterday doing the same, but camcorder couldn't keep up with him :) and all the gunge on the engine would have spoilt the film.

mm I forgot to film the cleaning the head and block bit. I might add a page, or use the static pic from the pics you took Dean, do you have any of the head?

quite random but googled 'Fiesta Head Gasket' (for jen's car) and this came up! how random but cool! :D cheers
