Wow, in shock, such a great welcome from you all. I hadn't seen this bit when I was flicking through at daft o clock the other morning, hope nobody thought I was been ignorant (does it explain the blank look earlier Ice lol)

The mini I'm getting back on the road is an 86 mayfair, running a Jonspeed built ex works metro challenge cup 1293 turbo engine, coil over shocks, rear beam, full cage etc etc. I actually stripped the engine today and plan to have it rebuilt by weekend, fingers crossed I'll be on the road in her again on March 1st :) running in for approx 500 miles then off down to Nuneaton (Jonspeed) to have thge front mount (intercooler) connected and the engine set up to run 15% methanol.
I also have a 1970 clubby I'm hoping to start on very soon, haven't touched her for about 10 years so it's going to be a full rebuild :D

Thanks again for the positive words guys, I've been hard at it this evening (working on the car :rolleyes: ) and fitted a new 4 pin diff and central oil pick up pipe, hopefully be finished by weekend :D
