Breaking A Mini :)

I just could not resist,stopping and asking'what are you doing with that Mini in the garden?' ......well i bought it and now im breaking it up for parts for spares.The shell is kaput! but there are part of use,no engine no bumpers,but there is a headlining,top dash and bottom dash,heater,windscreen,rear screen,door windows,rear quarter windows,rear lights petrol tank,good bonnet,chrome headlamp rims,inner headlamp holders.indicator lenses and bezels, a n/s passanger door,disks/hubs,subframes..... and more etc all are on the car at the moment.........but after the Wirral run I'm off for a week of glorious garage time :) So anybody after anything? i could do with a wiper motor and about 4 inches of loom sideb wire the other side of the connecting plug if they are in good condition....?
took the wiper motor off the new project when the one on charlie blew up and it was completely knackerd!??

what i removed today in between 8 coffee breaks :)

sunvisors ,mirror with suction cup,driver and passanger glass,rear quarter glass (opening), rear screen (heated),door cards,rear cards,door pulls,door openers,window handle lock surround,front safety belts,
2 rear lap belts,interior light,petrol tank,bonnet..all for sale!

Well the subframes came off and de greased today and stored and the shell is being collected by our friendly scrap man tomorrow morning.It's been great taking it all apart learning as I went on what the parts did and what they were.What made me laugh was how much room I needed to store them! And today i put the shell on a bread trolly to move it around the winds picked up and whooooosh the shell is racing around the yard towards Woody's pick up,we caught it in time :)..oooops!Lesson taught..always tie your Minis down in bad weather! LOL

A few flying shopping trolleys were spotted in Morrisons Car Park today, amazing what the wind can do,:D even to empty trolleys! LOL:D
