Water oil gauge

My mate has bought a oil and water temp gauge but he doesn't know where to put the sendor for it.

does anyone know where it goes:confused:

not sure what you mean, but the water sender take off is below the thermostat housing on the front of the head.

If the oil is mechanical its on the other side of the engine to the water on the block not far below the head near the engine steady, its a union fitting to a solid pipe at least it is on mine. I had replaced it with a braided flexi hose as the solid ones snap (Mine did hence the replacement)

But I'm not sure if you are asking about the same thing

hes tried the thing next to the radiator but it don't fit the sendor is to long.

Have you tried speaking to the company or where you got it form maybe there is a different sender for a mini

mm sorry I don't know the sender is a simple thing so I presume you need an adapter? Have you had a google on the make and model?

mm I can see waht you mean its much longer than my standard one? Is it for a different model, or maybe they do a shorter one or an adaptor that plugs into the head first?
